"Robertstown Area Business, Industry & Tourism Team"

 (RABITT)

On Monday night, 26th September 2005 an inaugural meeting of the "Robertstown Area Business, Industry & Tourism Team" was held at the Robertstown Hotel.

The meeting was convened by Gary Adkins who sent out invitations to some Business owners in the district and 19 persons attended.

 Gary's view was to have an informal discussion group who would meet on a regular basis to discuss ideas for:

  •  
The expansion of existing businesses
  •  
The development of new business
  •  
The development of a Tourism Industry
  •  
Access to Government to support projects
  •  
The development of joint ventures between local business

After a "round table" discussion a list of items was produced as future "Agenda Items" for the group to concentrate on to achieve for the Robertstown District.

Future meetings will be held at the Robertstown Hotel and all persons who conduct a business in the Robertstown area are welcome to attend.
